A little view of Ingham.

G'day we're Grace and Jim Hodge and we do this site as a means for family and friends to see what we've been up to. A few people around the world love the webcam so I try to keep it going but there's bound to be outages.
We live in the North Queensland town of Ingham, It's the southern gateway to the area known as the wet tropics, which is a very pretty part of the world.
Since we moved here in 2003 real estate prices have seemingly doubled so its lost charm as a buyers dream, but it's still a great place to live. There's something nice about not thinking about neighbourhood crime.
Before moving here we had spent a couple of years in the small town of Torrens Creek which although cheap and quiet was a 2 hour drive to the shops. People should think a bit about that before they consider moving to somewhere quiet.
Before that we spent 10 years in Lithgow, NSW where I worked as a postman before poor health pensioned me off. Eventually I had to move for my health's sake as I think the altitude and cold was killing me. My Grandfathers' each suffered from one of those complaints too.
